Young Toddler Unit

The Young Toddler Unit This unit is based on the ground floor and caters for older babies and toddlers from approximately 1 - 2 years old.

The welfare and care of your child are the prime objectives of all members of our staff and our aim is to create a homely, happy and safe environment which will stimulate and encourage your baby to develop into a happy and outgoing toddler.

To fully embrace the 'Early Years Foundation Stage' this unit has an open plan approach. All equipment is safely stored at a low level to enable the children to 'access and return' toys themselves.

This unit has its own designated outside play area which is also home to their very own and very friendly rabbit !

This unit also enjoys the benefit of a weekly 'sing and sign' class - which is unique to Twyford Tots !

Our tumbling tots are staffed with a ratio of 1 - 3.
